Usage

To lower pH: 1. pH should be kept between 7.2 - 7.6 to ensure effective sanitation, avoid eye and skin irritation and prevent damage to pool and equipment. 2. Test pH level using HTH quick tests strips or HTH 4-in-1 test kit. 3. With the filter running, add 250g (1/2 capful) of HTH dry acid around the sides of the pool. NB: In the case of vinyl or coloured lining, pre-dissolve HTH dry acid in a bucket of water before adding to the pool. 4. Filter for 3-4 hours, test and readjust pH if necessary. 6. If pH is still too high, continue to adjust down until within the required range of 7.2 - 7.6. NB: never add more than 500g of HTH® dry add at any one time. To lower total alkalinity (TA): 1. Switch the pump off. 2. Pre-dissolve 250g of HTH dry acid in 5 litres of water. Pour into one spot in the deep end of the pool. 3. Leave the pump off for 15 minutes. 4. Switch the pump on and continue with normal filtration. Check the TA level after 12 hours. 5. If necessary, repeat the process until the ideal range is reached.

Store in a cool, dry well ventilated area.

Keep out of reach of children. Never mix with other chemicals. Treat HTH dry acid in solution with the same care as liquid acid. Do not re-use packaging.
