Description

Metals like copper and Iron are introduced to pool water by certain pool products, low levels of pH and TA for extended periods and certain water sources like borehole water. HTH Metal Remover binds to metals, keeping them in solution, thereby preventing them from depositing onto the pool lining. Metal remover also reduces scaling and could lead to cloudy water after application. For best results follow up with a clarifier treatment.

Usage

When to use: Water has a bright green tint not due to algae. Water turns brown or gets worse when chlorine is added. As a preventative measure after periods of low TA or pH. When using borehole water in your swimming pool, add HTH Metal Remover once a month to help prevent metal stains on lining or water discolouration due to presence of metals. Based on a 50 000 litre pool. 1. Unplug the automatic pool cleaner. 2. Ensure the pump is on circulate/re-circulate or bypass, add 1 bottle of this product around the sides of the pool. 3. Allow to circulate for at least 8 hours to ensure thorough mixing. 4. After 8 hours, check and correct the pH if necessary. 5. Reconnect the automatic pool cleaner. 6. Allow the filter to run continuously for 24 hours. 7. Backwash the filter for 2 minutes and rinse the filter for 20 seconds. 8. Resume normal chlorination and filtration. 9. If your pool water turns cloudy, add HTH Sparkle IT Cube or HTH Sparkle It 1 litre in accordance with label instructions.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place away from food. Keep lid tightly closed.

Do not smoke. Do not eat drink or smoke when handling this product. Wash hands with soap and water immediately after use. In case of poisoning: call a doctor and make label available to him/her. Do not re-use or refill this container. First aid on skin: rinse with cold water for 15 minutes. If inhaled: remove person to fresh air, seek medical attention. In eyes: flush with cold water for 15 minutes. Use only as directed. Only for use in in-ground pools. If swallowed: do not induce vomiting. Drink large quantities of water. Seek medical attention immediately. If irritation persists, seek medical attention
